At Indigo we bring more than a decade of experience in the public sector

to drive outcomes for education.

Indigo Solutions, LLC was founded in 2022 by Nicole Kenney, a lifelong Hoosier and former State of Indiana Chief Procurement Officer during the Daniels’ administration. She focused most of her years at the state leading sourcing strategy, promoting partnerships with the supplier community, and increasing collaboration amongst Indiana local governmental entities and the State. Nicole led the inaugural road salt initiative that saved local governments hundreds of thousands of dollars by coordinating nearly 200 local entities’ volume with INDOT road salt volumes. Inspired by the impact that project had on the local governments and after working with the largest states, cities, counties, universities, and school districts across the country for nearly eight years, Nicole desired to utilize her expertise with a focus on driving value for school districts.

Nicole chose Indiana school districts first because:

1. she is most passionate about making a difference in the place she has always called home.

2. as a mom of three attending public schools, she cares about equity in education for every kid regardless of the school

district they attend.

3. as the wife of a public school teacher, she understands how important the resources and support through the supplier

community means to those responsible for educating our youth.

Thus, Indigo was born, and in a short few years has already proven successful driving value for multiple Indiana school districts. Nicole Kenney resides in Carmel, Indiana with her husband, an 8th grade public school teacher of 15 years, and their three children – Katelyn, Cameron, and Claire.

Karly joined the team in 2023, bringing with her years of successful customer-focused and project management experience in the dental, insurance, and luxury real-estate fields. Karly resides in Noblesville, Indiana with her husband, Adam, and two children-Luke and Kinley.
